Due to limited financial resources, WEO has only launched the first "Light Van" for transporting patients to WEO Eye Centers in China and for eye check-ups in poor, rural areas.

However, with millions of eye disease patients, WEO is studying the feasibility of setting up a convoy of WEO "Light Trucks" so that impoverished patients can receive care and cure regularly and conveniently.

Each "Light Truck" is a self-contained eye clinic with state-of-the-art equipment and well-trained staff who can conduct examination and operation in a safe and hygienic environment.

The "Light Truck" will also serve as a venue for education and training eye care personnel for poor regions of China.

Cost of each "Light Truck" is estimated to be between RMB 1 to 3 million, inclusive of all equipment and hardware, and dependent on the size and amount of equipment.

Corporate sponsorship will be targeted to fund this project.
